Wilma Arthur

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Wilma Arthur, 85, of Washington, formerly of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital.

      Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, in the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Rick Crooks officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home with a 6:30 p.m. Eastern Star service. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.

      Mrs. Arthur was born Nov. 9, 1923 in Elm Grove Township, Louisa County, the daughter of Evan "Dutch" I. and Jesse (Moody) Rees. She married Kenneth Arthur on Aug. 19, 1947 in the Spring Run Church in Columbus Junction.
