Wilma E. Kauffman

      MT. PLEASANT-Wilma E. Kauffman, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Wayland, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Park Place in Mt. Pleasant.

      Funeral services have been set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Wayland Mennonite Church, with Gerry Klopfenstein and Pam Unruh officiating. Burial will be in North Hill Cemetery. Visitation began today at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 this evening. Memorials may be directed to North Hill Cemetery, the Mt. Pleasant Library large print book collection, or Wayland Mennonite Church.

      Mrs. Kauffman was born on April 3, 1912, in Noble, to William and Anna (Eicher) Boshart. She married Max L. Kauffman on Feb. 7, 1931, in Kahoka, Mo.
