Wilma E. Kauffman April 3, 1912 - January 8, 2004

Wilma E. Kauffman, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Wayland, died on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at Park Place in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10 at Wayland Mennonite Church, with Gerry Klopfenstein and Pam Gerig Unruh officiating. Burial will be in the North Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to North Hill Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Public Library large print books and the Wayland Mennonite Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Dianne and her husband James Roth, of Mt. Pleasant; twin sons, William and his wife Barbara Kauffman of Manitowish Waters, Wis. and Robert and his wife Pam Kauffman of Grays Lake, Ill.; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Vere; a sister, Ina Peterson; and two half-sisters.
