Wilma Snakenberg

Wilma Snakenberg, 88, died August 8, 2017 at the Washington County Hospital. She was born June 15, 1929 in What Cheer, Iowa to Ira and Jennie Garrett James. . On October 22, 1949 she married Paul E. Snakenberg at St. Joseph?s Catholic Church in What Cheer and they lived and farmed near the Harper area. They moved to Sigourney in 1995. She later moved to Washington and lived in a residence at the United Presbyterian Home. She is survived by her daughters, Janet Goss of Kalona; Joyce (Randy) Van Dyke of Apple Valley, Minnesota; and Shirley (Greg) Smith of Heathsville, Virginia; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and her special friend James Reid of Washington.
