Winifred P. Sharpe

Winifred P. Sharpe, 95, of Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at the chapel in Forest Home Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Edward R. Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Beatty Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present from 4 to 7 p.m. and an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Iowa Department of the Blind.

Survivors include a son, Larry J. and his wife Carol Sharpe of Bettendorf; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
