Woodrow 'Ben' Clendenen
Woodrow B. "Ben" Clendenen, 91, of West Des Moines, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 24, at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel in West Des Moines. The family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 23 at McLaren's Chapel. Visitation will also be held at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in Donnellson at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, followed by a graveside service at noon in Evangelical Cemetery in Donnellson with Pastor Alice Hawes officiating.
Born on June 25, 1914, in Saskatchewan, Canada, he was the son of Robert and Anna Clendenen. He moved with his parents to southeast Iowa the same year.
