Wray W. Woolums

      Wray W. Woolums, 80, of rural Keosauqua, died at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, in the Van Buren County Hospital emergency room in Keosauqua.

      A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Elsa Lawry officiating. Mr. Woolums' body was donated to the University of Iowa College of Medicine.

      Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

      Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at 19128 Labrador Drive, Keosauqua 52565.

      Mr. Woolums was born Nov. 28, 1927, near Packwood, the son of Donald and Verle Woolums. He married Mary Kathryn Edmund Dec. 31, 1948, at Wesley Methodist Church in Ottumwa.
