Agreeing with Franzen on Wellness Park

To the Editor:
I agree with Gerald Franzen ? why do we need a wellness park? Why? With the economy the way it is right now, it is not a good move. With gas prices, grocery, water, property taxes we do not need another camel on our back. We have had enough! Do you hear?
If the City is offered a grant, before they accept this, they should make sure we have enough money saved to ...

If the City is offered a grant, before they accept this, they should make sure we have enough money saved to match this. At least be honest to the people of Washington, Iowa, if we even have the money.
Sell the land; get out of debt before going deeper in the hole. What happened to the days our grandparents taught us not to go into debt until the first one is paid off? This is still a very sound and good idea.
