I can't believe I had my last Summer Reading event this week. Time flies when you are having fun! I always look forward to putting together a thank-you note to all the people and business who generously donated to our Summer Reading program.
I was able to have four free family programs and fantastic reading prizes thanks to their generous donations.
Summer Reading couldn't be accomplished by me alone. I am SO thankful for my volunteers. They devote many hours of their summer to help Summer Reading go off without a hitch. My volunteers bring energy and excitement to the group and are great role models for the kids! I am thankful they are up for anything I throw at them.
I am so thankful for my amazing co-workers. They keep everything running smoothly while I am programming. They jump in when I need extra help and give me great feedback when I need it! We truly are a great team!
The library was filled with laughter, learning, and fun this summer! Thanks to everyone who helped make Summer Reading a huge success!
Join us for Movie Madness Monday, July 22 and 29 at 1 p.m. This is free-for-all! No registration required. Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult 14 years or older.
