Flowers of Ainsworth
June 25, 2016
Washington, Iowa
To the Editor:
Please notice, as you are driving through Ainsworth, the bright orange wildflowers blooming along the railroad tracks on the north side of the highway. They are butterfly weeds (Aselepias tuberosa). They have been there for many years and each year there are a few more. Hope the Monarchs have found them.
