To the Editor:

Orlando ? horrible beyond description. We are all cranked up about gun control, again.

Gun control, as presented so far, is like trying to stop drunk driving by making it more difficult for sober people to buy cars.

Let?s stop pussyfooting around and be brutally honest and blunt. No one can write a law to stop a criminal from getting a gun and killing.

Some want to take the guns away. Write something down. No matter what, we are never going take the guns away from the people.

I know too many people, most of them ex-military, who have all kinds of guns. If they ever come to confiscate them, they had better be well-armed, because there will be a great deal of blood. Simple. It will just never, ever happen.

In Orlando, and other places, we needed one good man with a right-to-carry permit. He could have stopped the killer in a minute or two ? saving many, many lives.

The media does not report this. It does not match their agenda. If they refuse to report it, we should never pay any attention to them again.
