Editor:

The original ordinances were never published enough, and several fireworks individuals were in violation while note were reported arrested?

It would seem that a new Op Ed is needed to publish the council's new ordinance prohibiting the use or explosion of consumer fireworks within the city is prohibited. Suggest the follow or best edited?

Ordinance No. 1109, City of Washington, Iowa: 'The use or explosion of consumer fireworks within the city is herby prohibited.”

This ordinance gives property owners and insurance companies the opportunity to bring charges against illegal fireworks individuals. Citizens will report this illegal use to law enforcement to be recognized. Property and personal damage protected by council action.
