Out-of-control adults in park
July 17, 2012
Washington, Iowa
To the Editor:
It?s a shame when you can?t take your 7-year-old and 2-year-old great-granddaughters to the park.
After a great lunch at Taste of China with my grandson and family, visiting here from Tennessee, the girls wanted to go see the beautiful fountain.
There was so much rowdiness and profanity coming from a group of men in the bandstand, you couldn?t enjoy the park.
Thank...

Thanks to Washington Police for coming and stopping what could have become a fight.
What has happened to our town and the park is a shame. The fountain and park are still nice ? it?s the adults who are out of control.
Thank you,
