Save the senior center

To the editor,
I cannot imagine closing the senior center.
This is a place where one can spend time between appointments, stop for a rest, play cards, get a cup of coffee, visit old friends and meet new ones; there are no strangers there.
There's a full kitchen, plenty of sitting room including easy chairs. It's the perfect place for celebration.
I truly hope people who care for the elderly will open their hearts and check books to this wonderful facility.
