We need to build smart energy grid

Regarding Animals for Food: The increased level of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere is undoubtedly a serious issue that has been deliberately ignored for decades.
We cannot blame China or other emerging countries. The U.S., with 4 percent of the world's population, is the biggest emitter of CO2 in the world. If we do everything that Biden is requesting, we will only join the "leaders" — roles already taken by European countries and by China itself — which has twice the renewable energy of the United States.
Nevertheless, it is foolish and counterproductive to tell people that they must solve the problem by changing their lifestyle and become vegetarians. It may make us feel self-righteous, but let's focus on what matters the most: building better homes, driving better cars, buying better appliances — all of which save energy and money.
And on building a smart, clean energy grid — as soon as possible.
