How a mother’s love transformed a life

This is a story about a mother’s love and a great man. The mother is Pauline Einstein and the son’s name is Albert Einstein. In the Bible, Isaiah 66: 13 reads, "As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you." We know mothers are special and they have a unique calling from God to love their children as God loves them. The fourth commandment is clear: "Honor your father and your mother." Love of fathers and mothers and children is of God.
When Albert Einstein was in elementary school, his teacher sent a note home with him. Albert could not read and he asked his mother to read it to him. Tears began to form in her eyes as she read the letter to her son. His mother told Albert that he was so smart that his teachers could no longer teach him and he was going to change the world.
Albert’s mother bought several books and began teaching Albert by herself. The whole world knows that turned out for the best. Albert Einstein is the most famous physicist of the 20th century. Our daily life would not be the same without him.
Later in Albert’s life, after his mothers' death, Albert found out what was really written in this letter. Now that he could read it for himself he found out his teacher thought he was too dumb to learn anything and that he was never going to amount to anything in his entire life. Tears formed in his eyes, not from hurt from his teacher’s letter but for the love and compassion his mother had for him.
Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879. He died April 18, 1953. He was from a middle class family in Munich, Germany. As a child, he was fascinated by music. He played the violin and loved math and science. He was a child prodigy who became a theoretical physicist. He wanted to crack open the mysteries of the universe.
In 1895, when he was 16 years old, he wrote the first paper on the force of magnetism. In 1905, he discovered that matter can be turned into energy and created the famous formula E=MC2. He found that energy is produced by converting a given amount of matter.
In 1915, he created the Theory of Relativity, which explores gravity. In 1922 he received the Nobel Prize in physics, an award for major scientific accomplishment. In 1933, he was doing research at Princeton University in New Jersey. He changed knowledge regarding the order of the universe, which was called mind blowing at the time.
In 1952, the Israeli government offered their presidency to Albert Einstein. He turned this down, saying he was not good at dealing with politics and people. His mind was scientific and although his relationship with the Jewish people was important, he must turn down the offer.
He was a Pacifist. There are many quotes that show us his simple philosophy and point of view on life.
A few I think touching are: "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous"; "A person who never makes a mistake never tried anything new"; "Try not to be a man of success but rather try to be a man of value”; “There are only two ways to live your life. One is that nothing is a miracle. The other is that everything is a miracle"; "God always takes the simplest way"; "When the answer is simple God is speaking"; "The only thing more dangerous than ignorance is arrogance.”
I think this story is beautiful and proof a mother’s love or any love is transforming.
