Marengo FFA officers attend COLT conference

The Marengo FFA Officer Team attended the Southeast Iowa FFA COLT Conference on Tuesday, June 6, at Louisa- Muscatine High School. One-hundred-ninety-one members from 32 chapters attended this event.

The conference focused on chapter officer leadership development. Officers were given the opportunity to learn common responsibilities of their respective office and participated in rotational workshops that covered: advocating for agriculture, connecting with stakeholders, recruiting for the local chapter and working as a cohesive team.

The officer team includes chapter president, Stella Sayers; co-vice presidents, Brooklyn Kilgard and Lola Frimml; treasurer, Alannah McKibben; sentinel, David Thomas and Clara Fry; reporter, Claire Smolik and Kathryn Kilgard; vice president of committees, Myla Frimml. The Marengo FFA adviser is Marcia Kilgard.
