Montezuma Medical Clinic celebrates first anniversary with UnityPoint Health — Grinnell

GRINNELL — UnityPoint Health® — Grinnell is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Montezuma Medical Clinic joining the UnityPoint Health team. Montezuma Medical Clinic has held a key presence in Montezuma and has provided years of trusted family medicine care for the Montezuma-area communities.

UnityPoint Health — Grinnell is pleased to be part of the community in Montezuma providing efficient, coordinated health care services to patients. Montezuma Medical Clinic patients now have seamless electronic medical records, giving patients access to their medical records and providers through a patient portal. The clinic also provides regular physical therapy services on-site.

Additional services including prenatal and postnatal obstetrics (OB) appointments are available beginning August 30. Dr. Abby Flannagan and Josie Rutherford, certified nurse midwife, will see patients at the Montezuma Medical Clinic which will allow the Montezuma-area communities access to the OB care they need, close to home. Also, a free vaccination program, Vaccinations For Children (VFC), will be implemented later this fall. All children will be able to receive necessary vaccinations, regardless of insurance, during their well-child checks.
