UnityPoint Health — Grinnell recognized as maternal health leader

GRINNELL — UnityPoint Health® — Grinnell leaders attended Iowa’s annual Condition of the State address on Tuesday, Jan. 10, in recognition of the vital work being done across UnityPoint Health — Grinnell to establish sustainable access to high-quality maternal health services for rural populations.

Funded in part by the Iowa Department of Public Health’s Center of Excellence Grant, UnityPoint Health — Grinnell obstetrics (OB), women’s health and public health care teams are expanding maternal health outreach to better meet the rural maternal health needs in Poweshiek, Iowa, Marshall and Tama counties.
