Mom, help is here!

The attack on the family is mission one for Satan. The disintegration of the family structure, one of the first institutes God created, is at the core of the rapid decay of any culture. "As the family goes, so goes the culture."

Jesus said in Matthew 12:29 " Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house."

One of these "strongmen" of the family is the mom.

Moms are fierce protectors, providers, and enforcers! This is what a healthy mom is. However, unfortunately some moms are struggling. Life has taken a toll.

Wounds from the past or present has crippled them, and they struggle to be what they need to be.

Moms can only give what they have received otherwise life becomes a burden and they feel pressure to perform. There is good news, Mom! Help is here!

The Holy Spirit is the Encourager, Comforter, Teacher, Counselor, Guide, Enforcer! Mom, you need the Holy Spirit to first fill the gap of any lack of nurturing that you might not have received.

Second Mom, you need to connect with the power and fruit of the Holy Spirit to empower you to give!

Galatians 5:22-23 declares " But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, [g]gentleness, self-control."

Imagine moms filled with unselfishness love instead of being absorbed with themselves; Imagine moms filled with joy instead of battling depression and oppression; Imagine moms filled with peace instead of fear, worry and anxiety; Imagine moms filled with patience instead of anger and rage; Imagine moms filled with kindness instead of cruelty and mean spirited; Imagine moms filled with goodness instead of ungodliness; Imagine moms filled with faithfulness instead of untrustworthiness; Imagine moms being filled with gentleness instead of rudeness; Imagine moms filled with self-control instead of impulsiveness and recklessness!
