Mothers are spiritual giants!

Mothers are truly a gift from God! There are biological moms, adoptive moms, step moms, foster moms, neighborhood moms, spiritual moms and more that I haven't mentioned.

All of these moms face many and separate challenges. The one thing they all have in common is the potential influence and impact they possess.

In Paul’s letter to a young pastor by the name of Timothy (2 Timothy 1:1-7), Paul encourages Timothy by reminding him of the faith that he was experiencing was because of a generational blessing of his grandmother.

In referencing the faith of Timothy's Grandmother and mother, Paul sheds light on how generational blessings are transferred. Paul would have known both Timothy's grandmother and mother to have known their faith.

A mother’s faith is powerful because someone is always listening! Paul would have heard these women speak to know their faith. Faith needs to be heard.

When grandma and mom speaks about their faith seeds are planted in young hearts. Someone is always listening! Just check out your child or your grandchild's expression when that four letter word slips out of your mouth!

A mother’s faith is powerful because someone is always watching! Not only had Paul heard these women speak he would have seen their faith. Talk is cheap and hypocritical when there is no action.

Such was not the case with Timothy’s grandmother and mother. Paul fully endorsed the faith of both women having heard and seen their faith.

A mother’s faith is powerful because they carry generational blessings! Eunice, Timothy's mother, had bought into the faith of her mother, Lois.

Our children are sharper than we give them credit for sometimes. Values are caught not taught. Both Eunice and Timothy had bought into the value of the previous generation.

Nothing defines our value system better than our calendar and checkbook! When they both reflect "seeking the Kingdom first." The next generation will hear and see our faith!

Moms are spiritual giants because God says they are!

Being a mother of any kind is a calling and whom God calls He anoints. Mom you are not powerless! "God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind!"

Stir up that anointing for power to create the miracles you need for you and your family!

Stir up that anointing to love like God the Father.unconditionally with unlimited grace and mercy and forgiveness!

Stir up that anointing for self-control, to protect the health and vitality for yourself and your family!

Moms are spiritual giants because God has called them and anointed them!
