“EFFECTIVE PRAYER”
Thursday, May 1st is National Day of Prayer. Please be encouraged to unite and lift your voice with other Christians to pray to God for our government, families, law enforcement, military, church, media, education and more.
Prayer is communicating with Father God. We are privileged to partner with HIM!
Remember times when your prayers have been effective & answered by the Father?
James 5:16b - The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
It’s been said, “Prayer is doing business with God!” This is why prayer is so wonderful!
The Body of Christ is God’s messengers to the world. God gave gifts of ministers and gifts of the Spirit to Christ’s Body to effectively share the Gospel. Mankind has tried to override power from God through: politics, money, and fame.
· God gave government to protect people, not mis-use people.
· God gives us the ability to get wealth to use as a tool… not be a selfish fool.
· God provides our needs to glorify our Creator, not the creation.
Prayer is an effective force that enables us to go beyond what we can imagine.
So we Pray for all people AND each other as Christ’s ambassadors or representatives to boldly & accurately share the Gospel and effectively share it.
May we flow in the Holy Spirit’s ability & anointing, to make known to the world the eternal hope in Christ. In Christ’s name God gives authority to oppose principalities, powers, rulers of evil in high places trying to restrain the Church and those needing a Savior.
Beware - Satan attempts to sabotage, trying to make humanity ineffective in government, economics, media, and selfishness.
James 5:16b “… person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.”
Prayer enables us to go beyond what we can even imagine.
Ephesians 3:20 Unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us.
He never stops working. The power that works in us is the effective Word of God AND Prayer to God! When we work, it’s man-power; but when we pray, God’s power is at work. At election times, we are encouraged to get out and vote… now get out and PRAY, expecting divine results! Thursday, May 1st is National Day of Prayer. Please unite at your town square, courthouse, etc. to pray for:
· The Body of Christ and ministers all around SE Iowa to speak God’s Word & the Gospel boldly, accurately & effectively, and…
· To effectively break satanic influence over the church, our cities, and S.E. Iowa. God’s Word is unstoppable, incorruptible, alive and sharper than a sword.
Each time we partner with our Father by praying in faith, we become dangerous to darkness! The church’s prayers are truly a force to be reckoned with. Take time right NOW to give thanks for God’s presence and power at work in our region and generation.
