We are God’s masterpiece

Let me tell you a story about a man in a city who was known as a "bag man" who looked like he was homeless, who died. Everybody thought he was flat broke, but when people went to retrieve his body at his home, they found trash cans full of money and cash stuffed under carpets and hidden in many other places. He was worth millions, but his treasure and all of his dreams remained hidden and unused.

We do not realize the treasure that is hidden in us and if we are not careful we will end up just like this "Homeless man" by not using what he had; he never used the God-given gifts given to him. You see, When we hit difficult seasons or even really good seasons in life it’s easy for God given dreams to take a back seat and we can feel stuck, but hold on, get ready, because Jesus wants to awaken fresh vision in you again.

God is calling us to dream again, especially in this season. You may have been paralyzed by fear, stuck in self-doubt, or waiting for the right time to take action, but you want to know something, Jesus is speaking to your ability to overcome. So I want to encourage you today to Pick up your dreams, pick up your mission, pick up your God-given passion, and let’s walk it out!

2 Corinthians 4:7, We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

Jesus living in us - Every one of us on planet Earth was created by God to have a dream, a destiny, and a reason for living. God has placed you here on purpose for a purpose. People sometimes go sit at a bar because they have lost this dream, this destiny or sense of purpose. Think of this, when God created you, he needed something done on earth that nobody else could do, so he designed you to do it.

Ephesians 2:10, 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

In other words, when we say yes to Jesus Christ it is not an end, it is a beginning. In Christ, We are a part of God’s new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) the old is gone and the new has come. God continues to work in us to make us what he wants us to be. Follow that Dream God put in your heart!
