2023 Football schedule released

The 2023 high school football schedules have been released. The upcoming season will be the first with a socioeconomic factor added for classifications. This classification adjustment will reduce 40 percent of a school’s free or reduced lunch count from their annual enrollment to determine their final classification number.
Pekin will be Class A, District 5
Aug. 25 @ Cardinal
Sept. 1 @ Van Buren
Sept. 8 host Danville
Sept. 15 @ Columbus
Sept. 22 host Lisbon
Sept. 29 host Highland
Oct. 6 @ Wapello
