What’s your favorite school memory or what will you remember the most? My favorite school memory is the memories that came along with hours of sports practices.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? I would change how much I stressed on things that weren’t that big of a deal.
Finish this sentence “I could not live without…” Good food.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? Best thing is being the oldest students in the high school, worst thing can be all of the stress from figuring out where you want to go and applying for scholarships.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? Alissa Boatman (Kitz), she has always been someone I know I can talk to. She has been a part of my Pekin school experience since I was in sixth grade.
What advice do you have for incoming high school freshmen? Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, everything sorts itself out.
What are your plans after graduation? Attend the University of Iowa with a goal to eventually major in nursing.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? New foods that I would never think of eating at the moment.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? The Lake of the Ozark's, because that was where I would always go on vacation growing up. It became my second home.
Who has been your biggest influence in your life and why? My family, they have taught me how to get through every obstacle in life. Sometimes you have to go through things on your own to really learn, and they helped me learn how to be independent.
