4-H Communications Day held July 16 at Keokuk Co. Expo

The 2024 4-H Communications Day at the Keokuk County Expo Fair was held Tuesday, July 16.
Performing Share the Fun dance acts and receiving blue ribbons were Carley Clarahan and Blakleigh Northup.
Working Exhibits, all receiving blue ribbons, were presented by Haylea Oostra and Makenzie Belvel with Brianna Belvel.
Education presentations, all receiving blue ribbons, were presented by Levi Weber, Jayde Snakenberg and Riley Gann, Tierney and Kearney Greiner, Brooks Clarahan, Beau Snakenberg and Kaylee Lacey.
Selected for 2024 State Fair 4-H Communications activities were: Carley Clarahan, Patriotic Panthers 4-H, with her Share the Fun dance; Haylea Oostra, Patriotic Panthers 4-H, with her Working Exhibit on Bookmarks; Levi Weber, Riverside 4-H, with his Educational Presentation on George Custer; Tierney and Kearney Greiner, Lafayette Feeders 4-H, with their Educational Presentation on Soybean Toxicity in Cattle; Brooks Clarahan, Lafayette Feeders 4-H, on his Educational Presentation on Getting Cattle Ready for Show; Jayde Snakenberg and Riley Gann, Stick-to-It 4-H, on History of 4-H. Haylea Oostra received the Best Overall Communication rosette award.
