Fairfield Parks & Recreation will be having their Spook Ride at Fairfield Waterworks Park on Thursday, October 27 from 6-8 p.m. All families of pre-K through 5th grade are welcome on the haunted walk/wagon ride. Enjoy a hot dog at the end of the ride! Free will offering.

The Richland Fire Dept. will be holding their soup supper on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 5-8 p.m. both evenings at the fire department. Dine in or carry out. Serving chili, potato soup, and chicken noodle soup. Free will offering.

Hedrick’s Halloween Parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Fire Station, the kids will walk to the library. Trick or Treating will be from 6-8 p.m.

FLAGS IN RICHLAND PARK, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11
The flags will be put up around the Richland Central Park on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11. Volunteers may come at 8:00 a.m. to assist putting them up.
VETERANS DAY PROGRAM, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11
Everyone is welcome to the Veterans Day Program at Pekin on Friday, November 11. The program will be held at 9 a.m. in the high school gym with Rick Bayless as the guest speaker. Service members and their families are invited to a complimentary coffee and social hour beginning at 8 a.m.
VETERANS BRUNCH, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13
Everyone is welcome to the Veterans Brunch on Sunday, November 13 at the Carl Craft Civic Center in Hedrick from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come enjoy a complete breakfast buffet, along with prime rib, baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, chili, and much more.
