RICHLAND LIBRARY AFTER-SCHOOL CLUB, TUESDAYS

FLAGS IN RICHLAND PARK, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10
The flags will be put up around the Richland Central Park for Veterans Day, on Thursday, November 10. Volunteers may come at 4 p.m. to assist putting them up.
VETERANS DAY PROGRAM, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11
Everyone is welcome to the Veterans Day Program at Pekin on Friday, November 11. The program will be held at 9 a.m. in the high school gym with Rick Bayless as the guest speaker. Service members and their families are invited to a complimentary coffee and social hour beginning at 8 a.m.
VETERANS BRUNCH, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 13
Everyone is welcome to the Veterans Brunch on Sunday, Nov. 13 at the Carl Craft Civic Center in Hedrick from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come enjoy a complete breakfast buffet, along with prime rib, baby back ribs, mashed potatoes, chili, and much more. Richland American Legion Post 504 will meet on Monday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Richland United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Visitors welcome, refreshments will be served.

The Brighton City Council will meet in regular session on Monday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. at City Hall.

The Packwood Christian Church will be serving its annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 24 at noon. This meal is free of charge and open to everyone. Pekin After Prom will be having a can drive on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to noon. Cans and bottles may be dropped off at Hedrick Civic Center, Packwood marquis sign, Richland square, or Pekin school. Everyone is welcome to the Richland United Methodist Church on Sundays at 10 a.m. for coffee and juice. Sunday morning service will follow.
