Arron Silvers is a 2022 Pekin graduate in the spotlight.
He is the son of Jim and Jill Silvers. He has one brother, Ian.
Q: What school activities or clubs were you involved in and/or where did you work while in school?
A: Football, play/musical, speech, trap shooting, Spanish club, FFA, band, Ruritan Rising Senior. I’ve worked at Evergreen Cemetery, Cambridge, and farming
Q: What’s your advice to underclassmen?
A: Don’t be dumb, and if you choose to be, don’t get caught.
Q: What’s your favorite school memory?
A: Anything involving trap shooting.
Q: What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
A: Intelligent, determined, and responsible
Q: What’s your favorite quote or saying?
A: “Today is the day you were so worried about yesterday” Anthony Hopkins
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: To attend Wartburg and major in finance
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
A: Back to Tennessee because it’s beautiful there.
Q: If you could meet anyone from the past or present, who would it be and why?
A: Probably Les Paul. He was a brilliant musician.
Q: Who has been your biggest influence and why?
A: My father. He is smart and a very respectable person.
