Beauty and the Beast to be presented by the Pekin Panther Players

The Pekin Panther Players will present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Friday, Nov. 10, Saturday, Nov. 11, and Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023.
The Friday, Nov. 10 show will start at 7 p.m. Tickets for this show are $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12.
A dinner theatre will be held Saturday, November 11. The meal will start at 5:30 and the show will follow. Dinner theatre tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children under 12. The dinner theatre meal will consist of chicken or roast beef, dinner salad, scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls and French pastries. Dinner theatre tickets must be preordered and paid for by Nov. 2.
A Sunday matinee will be held Nov. 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets for matinee are $10 for adults and $7 for children under 12.
Tickets to the Friday and Sunday shows also may be preordered. To pre-order tickets, call the high school office at (319) 695-3707 or by emailing Staci Wright at staci.wright@pekincsd.org. Tickets will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. All preordered tickets must be paid for in the high school office by Nov. 2 or they will be forfeited. Tickets to the Friday and Sunday shows will also be available for purchase at the door. Tickets are only available from the school. We have had fraudulent attempts made on Facebook to sell tickets at reduced prices; this is a scam.
Beauty and the Beast is being presented at Pekin under the direction of Staci Wright, Director of Performing Arts; Jim Eschenbrenner, Assistant Director of Performing Arts; and Jessica Carlson; Director of Vocal and Instrumental Music. All set, costume, crew, and artwork has been completed under the direction of Staci Wright, Roger Wright, Kari Beth Hamilton, Jeremy Hamilton and Matt Guise. Choreography director is Johannah Neff.
