Blake Juhl is in the spotlight this week. The Pekin graduate is the son of Lori Long and Andy Long, and Eric Juhl and Michelle Juhl. His siblings include Skler, Mason, Parker, Cameron, and Kenadie.
While in school Blake was involved in Football, Baseball, Wrestling, FFA, FBLA, and FCCLA. He has also held jobs farming and loading pigs.
What’s your favorite school memory or what will you remember the most? State Wrestling.
If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be? Changing my glasses.
Finish this sentence: “I could not live without…” Food.
What’s the best and/or worst thing about being a senior? The best thing is that we have more freedom and more opportunities.
Which teacher or staff member has had the biggest impact on you and why? Mr. Jones because he is always there for people.
Advice to incoming high school freshmen: Don’t be stupid and get your work done.
What are your plans after graduation? Farming.
What is one outrageous thing you want to try in your lifetime? Sky Diving.
If you could move anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? I like Iowa, so I would not move.
Who has been your biggest influence in your life and why? My Dad because he is always trying to make me a better person.
