Breakfast with Grinch in Richland

Richland Community Club hosted Breakfast with Grinch Saturday, Dec. 2 in the Richland Methodist Church fellowship hall. Approximately 175 attendees enjoyed the breakfast of egg casseroles, pancakes, fruit cups, and sausage. The Community Club handed out bags of candy to the approximately 65 kids that came to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, and the Grinch. A bake sale was held with proceeds going toward the Christmas lighting in the city park.
Prizes won were: bicycles, Bryce Hagans and Jayla Adams; gift basket, Spence Adam; Mickey Mouse book and stuffed animal, Mara North; Rudolph book and stuffed animal, Lincoln Wagner; Big Bird book and stuffed animal, Sutton Adam; Elmo book and stuffed animal, Mallory Laux; large stuffed Grinch, Jayda Adam; gift certificates, Cael Meacham, Cade Wall, Elizabeth Hagans, Gage Wiggins, and Clark Flores; Grinch sign, Vincent Hagans; sleds, Ainsley Greiner, Blakely Brown, Ethan Claeys, Leah Pfeifer, Garrett Hackert, Carson Laux, James Chittick, Jace Gorman, Ainslee Hackert, Brayleigh Brown, Sutton Adam, and Loren Laux.
The Community Club appreciates all the donations and volunteers that made this possible. Special thanks to J.T. Spray for being Grinch; Kevin and Rachelle Frisbee, who portrayed Santa and Mrs. Claus; Kaden Bender for handling the sound and music; the Packwood Locker for the 50 pounds of sausage; Gas & Goodies for the paper products; and all of the other businesses and individuals who donated prizes or money.
