Breakfast with Grinch, Santa held in Richland

The Grinch, Santa Claus, and Mrs. Claus were all in Richland Saturday morning to visit with area children and enjoy breakfast with them at the annual event put on by the Richland Community Club.
Over 200 people attended the breakfast and bake sale, with approximately 80 of those being children. The Community Club made up bags of candy for Santa to hand out to the kids.
A quilt given by Sheri Cobb was there as a raffle. The raffle, which will go to support the new childcare center, is still ongoing for anyone wanting to purchase a raffle ticket.
Prizes given at the breakfast were:
Legos: Bailey Brown. Duplo Blocks: Raylynn Greiner. Stufffed Grinch: Jace Gorman and Gage Rehm. Stuffed dog: Lily Rehm and Gage Wiggins. Spark: Blakley Brown. Pize 100: Ainsley Hackert and Tracey Greiner. Grinch with book: James Chittick, Otis Agan, and Sophia Van Buskirk. Lilo: Lela Vogel and Rylan Ford. Grinch with cup: Kysen Sines. Bike: Russell Bond and Jackson Jones. Gift certificate: Holden Hixson, Clark Flores, and Carrie Jones. Sled: Jackson B., Dayton Kramer, Avery Ford, Brogan Spray, Ronnie Chittick, Madison Meacham, Jacob Wiggins, Memphis B., Ethan Claeys, Brody Zirkle, Randi Ellis, Tracy Young, and Braxon Pullen.
The Community Club thanks everyone for the donations and the volunteers for their time. Sponsors for the event were Hinshaw Trailer Sales, Libertyville Savings Bank, JCHC Medical Clinic, Sines Plumbing, Packwood Locker, ServPro, and W.C. Gretter & Sons Elevator
