Cardinal Pekin Dust Devils season underway

The Cardinal Pekin Dust Devils opened their season at the North Mahaska Shoot on April 1, held at Ottumwa.

At the varsity level, Owen Rupe scored a 27, finishing 50th out of 121. Camryn Clubb scored a 33 for 81st; while Matthew Wenke-Frueh scored a 33 for 80th. Korwin Brown hit 32, good for 85th place; Stephen Troxel scored 29 for 99th; and Levi Coleman hit 27 for 107th. Colton Adkison scored a total of 25 for 112th, and Kara Trenary scored 23, good for 36th place in the women’s varsity.

In the junior varsity level, Deagon Eakins hit 29 out of 50; Dawson Elliott hit 26; and Austin McKim got 25. Dalton Clark finished with 16 out of 50, and Cody Raines hit 15.
