Cattle in the Green series at Keokuk Co. Extension in Dec.
Nov. 17, 2022 2:17 pm
This four-part series will be Dec. 6, 8, 13, and 15 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Keokuk County Extension Office. This course was developed from a weeklong professional development school Patrick Wall attended in Colorado. Just by making a few simple management changes the operation was able to eliminate the operating note and enhance the profitability of the cow calf enterprise.
Learn to financially analyze your livestock/farm operation in a different way to find more profit, eliminate money pits and lower your stress level. This 4-part program was designed to look at financial and business management from a different perspective. Most beef producers view financial records as a necessity for taxes, but Cattle in the Green uses that basic data to analyze the operation to look for and use simple management changes for better results.
Registration fee is $50 per person or $75 per couple registering. A light meal will be served each session.
Registration is required by November 30, 2022. To register, contact the Keokuk County Extension Office at 641-622-2680 or email Emily Belvel at ebelvel@iastate.edu
