SIGOURNEY — Each year at the Keokuk County Expo Fair we take time to celebrate our Clover Kids that are in third grade by hosting a Clover Kids Graduation. This event signifies their accomplishments in Clover Kids and starts their journey into 4-H has a fourth-grader. Keokuk County had 32 Clover Kids graduate from the program this year. With seven active Clover Kids clubs and more than 120 young members across Keokuk County, there’s no doubt that the next generation of leaders is already hard at work learning, growing, and exploring.
“We are so proud of our Clover Kids and all they’ve accomplished throughout their time in the program! It’s been a joy watching them grow, explore, and learn through hands-on experiences. We’re excited about the bright future of the Keokuk County 4-H program, and we can’t wait to see these amazing kids take their next steps by joining 4-H,” said Ashley Yedlik, Keokuk County Extension and Outreach County Youth Coordinator.
The Clover Kids program is a specially designed branch of Iowa 4-H, tailored for kindergarten through third-graders. It sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and encourages creativity; laying a strong foundation for essential life skills in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.
