Central College Student Scholarship Recognition

PELLA — Central College students were recognized during the annual Scholarship Dinner for scholarships earned and applied to the 2024-25 academic year.

Allison Blad of Fremont received the Journey Scholarship Fund and Richard Morton Root & Ruth Bailey Root Revolving Student Loan. Blad is a member of the Class of 2025.

Leah Bontrager of Wellman received the James J. Naccarato Scholarship and Journey Scholarship Fund. Bontrager is a member of the Class of 2026.

Seth Brader of Fairfield received the Journey Scholarship Fund and Ruth & Mike Denekas Endowed Scholarship. Brader is a member of the Class of 2026.

Aspen Carlson of Fairfield received the Journey Scholarship Fund and T.W. & H.B. Prins Endowed Memorial Scholarship. Carlson is a member of the Class of 2028.

Colton Comstock of Hedrick received the Journey Scholarship Fund and The Gentry Scholarship. Comstock is a member of the Class of 2026.

Drake Drish of Fairfield received the Geisler Penquite Scholarship 2014B. Drish is a member of the Class of 2025.

Sophia Fritz of Brighton received the Lillian Waalkes Music Scholarship and Pella Rolscreen Scholarship. Fritz is a member of the Class of 2026.

Chayse Gilchrist of Fairfield received the C.V. Starr Scholarship Fund, James J. Naccarato Scholarship, Journey Scholarship Fund and The Patty Meyer Scholarship for First-Generation Students. Gilchrist is a member of the Class of 2027.

Braden Hartley of Wellman received the Journey Scholarship Fund and The Howard and Rose Hersbergen Memorial Scholarship. Hartley is a member of the Class of 2027.

Katelyn Hofmaster of North English received the Journey Scholarship Fund and The Lora Grandia Music Scholarship. Hofmaster is a member of the Class of 2026.

Maya Lane of Fairfield received the Journey Scholarship Fund and Marge Van Houweling Scholarship. Lane is a member of the Class of 2028.

Emma Lenox of Fremont received the The Bea and Eli Rosenman Charitable Scholarship Fund in honor of Peter, H. Kuyper, Stuart Kuyper and Joan Kuyper Farver. Lenox is a member of the Class of 2025.

Landry Pacha of Wellman received the Journey Scholarship Fund and The Ron Schipper Scholarship. Pacha is a member of the Class of 2027.

Kaylee Peiffer of Packwood received the Ruth M. Wise Memorial Scholarship in Art and The Bill and Wilma Northup Scholarship. Peiffer is a member of the Class of 2025.

Claire Pettit of Fairfield received the The Dutch Blessing Scholarship and The Jeanette and Elmer Vermeer Memorial Scholarship. Pettit is a member of the Class of 2025.

Mary Pettit of Fairfield received the James J. Naccarato Scholarship and Journey Scholarship Fund. Pettit is a member of the Class of 2027.

Macy Schmidt of Webster received the Francis & Jeannette Huyser Scholarship and Journey Scholarship Fund. Schmidt is a member of the Class of 2027.

Taylor Sprouse of Selma received the Elsie M. Larson Scholarship Fund, Froelich Scholarship and Journey Scholarship Fund. Sprouse is a member of the Class of 2027.

Lexi Swearingen of Hedrick received the Journey Scholarship Fund and The Howard and Rose Hersbergen Memorial Scholarship. Swearingen is a member of the Class of 2028.

Ryleigh Van Den Heuvel of Keswick received the Journey Scholarship Fund. Van Den Heuvel is a member of the Class of 2027.
