Crop Advantage Series will bring latest research, crop production information to Coralville

Coralville — Iowa State University Extension and Outreach specialists will travel to the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Coralville for the 2024 Crop Advantage Series to provide farmers, crop consultants and agribusinesses with current research from Iowa State University and updated management information and recommendations based on current and future crop production issues.

In addition, the meeting will also offer continuing educations credits for Certified Crop Advisers (CCA) and pesticide safety recertification for private pesticide applicators. ISU Extension and Outreach will travel to 12 locations across Iowa for the 2024 Crop Advantage Series from Jan. 3-30.

“The Crop Advantage Series programs are exciting to offer as they provide a unique opportunity for producers and industry professionals to learn from a range of extension specialists,” said Clarabell Probasco, field agronomist with ISU Extension and Outreach. “Agendas are unique to each location, providing participants relevant information over their area of the state.”

Topics at the Coralville Crop Advantage Series meeting will include: crop market outlook for 2024, grain drying and storage, El Niño implications and climatological outlooks, soybean and corn disease updates, Iowa DOT regulations and updates, and more.

Early registration is $75, and late registration made less than seven days prior to the meeting or on-site is $100. Registration includes lunch, printed proceedings, and CCA credits. A separate $30 fee will be collected on-site for the P-CIC portion.
