Earnest, Phillips to perform at All-State Speech

IHSSA State Speech Contest was held at Xavier High School in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, March 9. Pekin had 11 entries performing in the contest.

Performances that receive an overall I rating may be nominated for All-State, either performing or non-performing.

Nominated for All-State from Pekin were Izabella Earnest in Prose and Brinley Phillips in Musical Theatre. They will both be performing at All-State next Monday, March 25.
