Nutrien Ag Solutions is hosting a fundraiser for employee Jared Bond’s daughter, Ella, on Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Carl Craft Civic Center in Hedrick.

Ella Bond’s Fight Against Rett Syndrome Fundraiser is being held for Ella Bond, daughter of Jared and McKenna Bond. Ella, who will be two in October, was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in April 2023.

Rett Syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that leads to severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of life. Caused by a gene mutation, Rett is first recognized in infancy and occurs in girls, and rarely in boys.

The fundraiser will kick off with a 2 vs. 2 Bags Tournament beginning at 3 p.m., registration for the tournament will be at 2:30. A free will donation supper provided by Bubba Q’s will start at 5 p.m. A silent auction will be held with last call for bids at 6:30, and winners announced at 7:15 p.m.
