Everyone and their dog is preparing for Washington County Fair

Activity at the Washington County Fairground is picking up speed now in a variety of department areas in preparation for the Washington County Fair.
4-H dog project members started their weekly dog workouts May 7 and will continue every Wednesday until the county fair in July. 4-H volunteers Tracie Sedlacek, Jessica Todd, and Amanda Smith lead the 4-H dog project sessions. Each week they work on obedience, showmanship and agility. Members are divided into beginner and advanced sessions with almost 40 youth participating.
The 4-H & FFA Dog Obedience Show is Sunday, July 13 at 3 p.m. Monday, July 14 at 10 a.m. is the Dog Agility show. Both shows are at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
