Fall Children’s Programs at the Richland Public Library
Sep. 14, 2023 12:44 pm
Now that students have settled into their school routines and fall is in the air, the Richland Public Library will be starting up their fall activities for children of all ages.
Kids Club will be held on Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m. starting September 19. This program will include snacks and a mix of stories, arts & crafts, games and other fun activities. The activities will be geared toward children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Our brand-new Tiny Tots program will be held on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4 p.m. starting on September 20. This program is geared toward toddlers and their caretakers and will feature songs and circle activities followed by a “play & chat” time for the children to play and the caretakers to chat. Please register in advance as class size will be limited.
Our Teen-Time program will be held on Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. starting on October 5 for students in sixth grade and up. We’ll provide a snack along with arts & crafts, games and time to socialize.
If school is canceled or dismissed early because of inclement weather, then our afternoon programs also will be canceled. For more information, please call the library at 319-456-6541 or email us at richlib@natel.net.
