Flag Raising ceremony held
Members of American Legion Post 504 were at Pekin Wednesday, Aug. 24 to perform the Flag Raising Ceremony. This ceremony has been held on the first day of classes at Pekin for more than five years.
Pekin superintendent Derek Philips welcomes the students to the new school year on the first day of school.
