Greenhouse Pest Control Continuing Instruction Course in Sigourney Nov. 4

Sigourney — Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Keokuk County office will host a Greenhouse Pest Control Instruction Course (CIC) for commercial pesticide applicators on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025. The program provided by the ISU Extension and Outreach Pesticide Safety Education Program (PSEP) can be seen at office locations across Iowa.
The local attendance site is Keokuk County Extension Office 400 220th Ave Suite A. Sigourney, IA 52591. Preregistration may be required. Walk-ins are not guaranteed admission. The course runs from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The registration fee is $45. The course will fulfill 2025 continuing instruction requirements for commercial pesticide applicators certified in category 3G. Some of the topics covered will include information on pesticide use and the environment; pesticide labels and comprehension; and pests, pest management, and pesticides.
