IDE Gymnastics attends Jr. Olympic Nationals

IDE Gymnastics attended the 2023 AAU Jr. Olympic Trampoline and Tumbling Nationals in July with 31 athletes representing our part of IOWA. They returned with nine championships and 64 places in the top 10. At the competition the athletes are divided into age groups and skill levels, and the competitors are then placed into “flights” of no more than 10 in each. The scores are then compiled and posted according to their placement against all other competitors in the same age and skill level. Some of these levels total 80 or more girls or boys. The overall top 10 scoring performers make it to the podium to represent the Nation.

In first place in the Beginner Boys Power Tumbling, we have Kaleb Barnett. In Beginner Girls Trampoline we have Renleigh Forrett and Madilynn Wallace. In Beginner Single Mini Trampoline, we have Kayona Krochak plus a High Point. In Intermediate Trampoline we have Riley Lathrop and Skylar Smith. In Advanced Trampoline we have Audrey Robinson and Ashlynn Adrian who also received first in Synchronized Trampoline.

Brayden Peck came back with a second place in Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Iris Ballard placed second in Single Mini Trampoline, Katelyn Brecount second in Trampoline, and Alyson Lilley second in Power Tumbling.

Nadia Royer returned with a third place in Trampoline, and Jacob Wallace got third place in Double Mini Trampoline.

Bristol Sobaski placed fourth in both Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline, and Kinley Adam placed fourth in Single Mini Trampoline. Randi Ellis and Kaylee Wright each placed fourth in Double Mini Trampoline. Dawson Wiggins placed fourth in Trampoline, and Reagan Wise finished fifth in Power Tumbling.

Brooklyn Ledger had sixth place finishes in both Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Kamryn Tharp placed sixth in Single Mini Trampoline. Addison Flores and Avery Ledger each placed seventh in Power Tumbling. Brielynn Tucker finished ninth in Single Mini Trampoline. Charley Metcalf received 10th in Trampoline, and AnnaLee Warth finished 10th in Single Mini Trampoline.

Madilyn McCarty placed 11th in Single Mini Trampoline, Eliana Ferdig was 13th in Single Mini Trampoline, Kiley Metcalf was 14th in Double Mini Trampoline, and Elivia Ferdig finished 22nd in Single Mini Trampoline. There were many more scores, and IDE Gymnastics is proud of each and every one of their athletes. We look forward the next season coming in October.
