Ide Gymnastics attends two competitions in Cedar Rapids

Ide Gymnastics attended the AAU Winter Wonderland Trampoline and Tumbling competition in Cedar Rapids on Feb. 17, 2024, with 23 athletes. The team came home with 34 first place finishes.

The biggest winner was Renleigh Forrett, who placed first in four events, Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, Single Mini Trampoline, and Power Tumbling.

Kaleb Barnett, Dawna Rupe, Maiya Vasquez, Shalom Watson, and Reagan Wise all also placed first in all of their events also, which were Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, and Power Tumbling.

Kinley Adam placed first in both Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Brayden Peck and Kamryn Tharp each had first place finishes in both Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Adalyn Williams placed first in both Power Tumbling and Single Mini Trampoline. Kaitlyn Jensen, Kayona Krochak, Avery Ledger, and Charley Metcalf each placed first in Trampoline. Brooklyn Ledger got a first place finish in Power Tumbling; and Izabella Rupe and Isabelle Sinnard each placed first in Double Mini Trampoline.

Randi Ellis came away with second place in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Alexa Rupe finished second in both Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Addison Flores finished second in Single Mini Trampoline, Kiley Metcalf placed second in Trampoline, and Madilyn McCarty finished third in Double Mini Trampoline.

Ide Gymnastics attended the USTA Winter Wonderland Trampoline and Tumbling competition in Cedar Rapids on Feb. 19, 2024, with six athletes. The team finished with eight first place finishes.

Elisha Vander Linden brought home first place in all three events, Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Kayona Krochak and Shalom Watson each placed first in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Kamryn Tharp took first in Power Tumbling.

Renleigh Forrett and Isabelle Sinnard each placed second in Trampoline.
