Ide Gymnastics attended the 2025 USTA National Championships in Rapid City, South Dakota in June with seven determined and talented athletes.
At the competition the athletes were divided into age groups and skill levels, and the competitors are then placed into “flights” of no more than 10 in each. The scores are then compiled and posted according to their placement against all other competitors in the same age and skill level. Some of these levels total 60 or more girls or boys. The overall top 10 scoring performers receive a trophy and stand on the podium. The athletes compete in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling.
We’re happy to announce that Coach Audrey Robinson is our National Champion again this year in the Elite level of Trampoline, and made the top 10 in Double Mini Trampoline also. Brayden Peck is runner-up with second place finishes in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline in the Advanced levels in the Boys 9-10 ages. Kayona Krochak placed second in Trampoline in the Novice level and 11th place in Double Mini in the Intermediate level. Reagan Wise made the podium in fifth place in the Intermediate level in Double Mini Trampoline. Kamryn Tharp made it to the top 10 in both Trampoline and Power Tumbling with an eighth and ninth place in the Advanced and Novice level. Lilah Sanchez Tevar made the podium with a 10th place in Trampoline in the Novice level and Kaitlyn Jensen came in 11th and 12th in the Double Mini Trampoline and Trampoline in the Advanced levels respectively. All their hard work paid off.
We’d also like to thank all the coaches and parents who stepped up to get this competition done. Coaches Gregg Baker, Sarah Tharp, Kim Robinson and Phil Krochak. Without you it wouldn’t have happened.
