Ide Gymnastics competes at Cherokee and Boone

Ide Gymnastics attended the Cherokee Warm Up AAU Trampoline and Tumbling competition on Saturday, Jan. 28 with seven athletes and returned with 10 first place finishes.

Renleigh Forrett did a “hat trick” with three first places in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Kamryn Tharp also had her “hat trick” with three first places in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Audrey Robinson and Brielynn Tucker both placed first in Single Mini Trampoline. Randi Ellis placed first in Double Mini Trampoline and Eliana Ferdig placed first in Trampoline.

Adalyn Williams came home with second place in Single Mini Trampoline.

Coach Zack Forrett was very pleased with the results for their first time competing in Cherokee, Iowa.

IDE Gymnastics participated in the USTA Trampoline and Tumbling competition on Feb. 4 and 5 with the theme of “Lets Go to the Movies” in Boone, Iowa with eight athletes and came back with eight first place finishes.

Ashlynn Adrian had a “hat trick” with first place finishes in all three events of Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Jacob Wallace and Madilynn Wallace each finished first in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Kayona Krochak brought back a first place medal in Double Mini Trampoline.

Audrey Robinson finished second in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Kaitlyn Jensen and Kamryn Tharp both finished third in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Kaylee Wright brought it home with a fourth in Double Mini Trampoline in the Sub-Advanced level for girls aged 11.
