IDE Gymnastics competes in Junior Olympics 2024

IDE Gymnastics competed in the Junior Olympics 2024 in Greensboro, North Carolina with 18 athletes. The team returned home with 10 First Place finishes.
Brayden Peck received an All-American Award for High Point in Double Mini Advanced level. Brodie Cooke received an All-American Award for High Point in Trampoline Elite level. Renleigh Forrett received an All-American Award for High Point in Power Tumbling Beginner level.
At the competition the athletes were divided into age groups and skill levels, and the competitors were then placed into “flights” of no more than 10 in each. The scores are then compiled and posted according to their placement against all other competitors in the same age and skill level. Some of these levels total 60 or more girls or boys. The overall top 10 scoring performers receive a medal and stand on the podium. The athletes compete in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline, Power Tumbling and Single Mini Trampoline.
Brayden Peck came back with a “hat trick” in Trampoline, Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline. Brodie Cooke earned two First Place finishes in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline Elite. Renleigh Forrett placed First in both Novice Double Mini Trampoline and Beginner Power Tumbling. Kaitlyn Jensen and Audrey Robinson each received First Place in Advanced Trampoline, and Kamryn Tharp placed First in Advanced Double Mini Trampoline.
Isabelle Sinnard placed Second in both Trampoline and Power Tumbling. Randi Ellis finished Second in Double Mini Trampoline, Izabella Rupe finished Second in Trampoline, and Reagan Wise placed Second in Single Mini Trampoline.
Dawna Rupe placed Third in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline, while Madilyn McCarty received Third in Single Mini Trampoline, and Shalom Watson placed Third in Trampoline.
Nadia Royer placed Fifth in both Trampoline and Double Mini Trampoline. Madilynn Wallace took Fifth place in Trampoline. Alexa Rupe placed Sixth in Power Tumbling. Lucy Cooke finished Seventh in Trampoline. Kayona Krochak placed Eighth in both Double Mini Trampoline and Single Mini Trampoline.
