Ide Gymnastics hosts meet
Dec. 1, 2022 5:39 pm
IDE Gymnastics hosted their Proud to Be an American AAU trampoline and Tumbling meet at Cardinal High School on Nov. 12, 2022 giving honor to our veterans. Ide Gymnastics took 32 athletes to the competition and came back with 32 first place finishes. The athletes competed in three events: Trampoline, Double Mini trampoline and Single Mini trampoline.
Ide Gymnastics had three athletes with ‘Hat Tricks’ winning first place in all three events, Ashlynn Adrian, Brooklyn Ledger and Bristol Sobaski. They also had athletes who had more than one first place — Riley Lathrop, Skylar Smith, Eisha Vander Linden, Jacob Wallace, Randi Ellis, and Renleigh Forrett in trampoline and double mini; Brayden Peck and Reagan Wise in double mini and single mini trampoline; and Kamryn Tharp in trampoline and single mini trampoline. The rest of the first place awards went to Eliana Ferdig and Kayona Krochak in trampoline; and Kinley Adam, Madilynn Wallace, and Annalee Warth in single mini trampoline.
Receiving second place were Dawson Wiggins in all three events; Ashley Lyons and Audrey Robinson in both trampoline and double mini trampoline; Katelyn Brecount, Joud Khadairat, and Madilyn McCarty in trampoline; Avery Ledger in double mini trampoline; and Nadia Royer in single mini trampoline.
Third place winners were Harper Clubb in double mini and single mini trampoline; Kiley Metcalf and Kaylee Wright in both trampoline and double mini trampoline; and Myka Wallace and Vada Curran in single mini trampoline.
Charley Metcalf finished fourth in trampoline, and receiving fifth in single mini trampoline was Adalyn Williams.
Ide Gymnastics had many more scores but these highlights were very satisfying for their first competition of the season.
Ashlynn Adrian finished first in all three events, trampoline, double mini trampoline, and single mini trampoline
Bristol Sobaski performs her double mini trampoline routine. She received first in this event, as well as in trampoline and single mini trampoline.
Left to right, Myka Wallace, Brooklyn Ledger, and Kayona Krochak. Wallace had a third-place finish in single mini trampoline, Brooklyn Ledger had a ‘Hat Trick’ with wins in all three events, and Kayona Krochak earned a first place in trampoline.
